Newpark has a dedicated website with Strategi where you can download bespoke guidance material, view articles relating to building your FAP, gain information on the FAP operations manual and how to obtain it, plus compliance obligations post 15 March 2021.

Continuous training and development
Our weekly open Zoom sessions are hugely popular with Advisers, providing a forum to ask questions from experts and an opportunity to interact with other Advisers in the group from the comfort of their own office:
- Tech Time with the Tech Guy – our resident IT manager, Clive, answers any and all questions on technology, be it hardware or software, how to use an application, or the many tips & tricks that can make your life that much easier. Ask the Tech Guy first for advice before going elsewhere.
- Insurance Speak – easy access to underwriting advice from a top underwriter is easy during these sessions for advice with a tricky case or claim. You can also get guidance on the many aspects of running an advice practice.
- Credit Corner – our credit and loan guru, Gopal, brings years of experience to help Advisers through the many hoops and hurdles of lending in today’s ever changing lending environment.
We also run regional study groups that provide a more structured and formal learning environment, and again the opportunity for Advisers to get to know other Advisers in their area.
Lead generation
Newpark has made available to members insurance and mortgage lead generation programs to choose from.
Unlike lead programs of the past, these programs provide pre-qualified, real-time leads, from customers proactively searching online that are instantly delivered to the Adviser via email. This provides the best possible chance for a lead contact to be converted into an appointment without the complication of time delays or enquiries that will never ever go anywhere.
This is a fee-for-service only program available only to qualifying Newpark members. Advisers take home 100% of the revenue they generate from any sale that is generated from the lead program.
Home loans aggregation
Newpark Home Loans is New Zealand’s fastest growing Adviser group. It has a wide range of traditional and non-traditional financial service products for Advisers to take advantage of.
The fee model is unique in the New Zealand market by providing mortgage businesses with the environment to grow and expand their business without the associated risk cost of bringing on board additional Advisers to provide that growth.
Mortgage mentor program
Arguably the best in the market, this is a six-month program with a mix of classroom and individual learning that is focused on putting the theory into action as opposed the nuts and bolts of lending itself.
Advisers that have gone through this program walk away with the tools and tips that allows them to generate more revenue from mortgage introductions.
Fire & General referral program
Fire and General insurance referrals for residential and commercial lines of business can be direct to Tower or Vero without the Adviser becoming involved in the Advice process or subsequent renewals. Advisers are onpaid from Newpark for their upfront and ongoing renewal commission.
Independent CRM technology
Newpark does not mandate the use of a particular CRM platform.
It is the choice of the Adviser to determine which CRM system best suits their needs. Furthermore, this means that Advisers can keep an arms-length relationship between their and software provider. More importantly unlike other groups that provide their own CRM system, the Adviser does not have to worry about privacy issues, disclosure where customers data is held, and who has access to that data.
Newpark has over a number of years developed and refined its own Adviser centric CRM system, ‘Toolbox’. Qualifying members can use Toolbox in their business for a nominal, or in most cases, no cost to the Adviser.
